Plain English, no small print: Local Foodies may earn commissions or referral revenue from eligible partner links. Here is exactly how ordering and booking links work.
Clean links come first
Every button sends you to the link the business itself provided.
Tracking is optional and reversible
Partner tracking is a layer that can be switched off without breaking the business link.
Rankings are never affected
Search, map results, reviews and coverage ignore commercial relationships.
No extra cost to you
The price you see is the price the platform charges anyone.
Clean links come first
Every website, menu, ordering, booking and reservation button sends you to the link the business itself provided. That is the default and, unless a page tells you otherwise, it is what you are using. The business's stored official destination is never changed by partner tracking.
When a partner link may be used
In some places and for some services (for example delivery or reservation platforms) an outbound link may include approved partner tracking. If it does, Local Foodies may earn a commission or referral revenue when you order. You never pay more because of it — the price you see is the price the platform charges anyone.
Where partner tracking is active, we say so directly next to the button. If you do not see that note, no partner link is involved. Not every click or order generates revenue.
We do not replace direct ordering with another provider merely because that provider offers compensation.
What partner revenue never changes
- Search results, map results and rankings. Ordering is based on relevance and distance, never on commercial relationships.
- Whether a business appears on Local Foodies at all. Free listings stay free and complete.
- Reviews, ratings and editorial coverage. Partners get no favourable treatment.
Partner tracking can be switched off
Partner tracking is a layer on top of the clean business link. It can be disabled at any time — globally, per provider or per country — without breaking the underlying business link. If you manage a listing, eligible businesses may also opt individual action links out of partner tracking from the business dashboard, where supported. We will then always send visitors to your own clean link.
Your privacy
Partner links do not share your name, email address or account with the provider. We record anonymous click counts so businesses can see how their listing performs. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.
